About Huddl
Huddl is a platform that lets organizations host websites, sell tickets, manage memberships, and communicate with their communities. This document describes how Huddl handles information collected through our platform and the terms that govern your use of our services.
Information We Collect
- Account information — the name, email address, and organization details you provide when you create an account or buy tickets.
- Transaction information — order details, ticket purchases, and donations. Payment card data is handled by our payment processor (Stripe) and never stored on Huddl.
- Usage information — pages viewed, actions taken, IP address, browser information. Used to operate, improve, and secure the service.
How We Use Information
- To deliver the tickets, websites, and other services you sign up for.
- To communicate transactional information (purchase confirmations, password resets, etc.).
- To send messages from the organization whose event you bought tickets to, where you've opted in.
- To prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
Sharing
We share information with the organization whose event or product you bought (they need to know who bought what), with our payment processor and infrastructure providers, and when required by law. We do not sell personal information.
Your Choices
- You can request a copy or deletion of your personal data by emailing the organization who sold you the ticket.
- You can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in any marketing message we send.
- You can manage cookie preferences via the cookie banner shown on first visit.
Terms of Service
By using Huddl, you agree not to use the platform for illegal activity, not to attempt to disrupt the service, and not to misrepresent yourself or your organization. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or applicable law.
Tickets, refunds, and event details are governed by the policies of the individual organization selling the event. Huddl is not the merchant of record for those transactions.
